Columbia County Rural Library District eReads in eWA program will provide eReader overview and help.
WHERE: Dayton Memorial Library
WHEN: Friday, November 16th
TIME: 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Carolyn Peterson from the Washington State Library will be doing an overview of various types of eReaders, i.e., Nook, Kindle, Sony Reader. The first half of the program will be an overview of the various kinds of eReaders. The last half of the program will be hands-on experience will the eReaders.
Anyone of any age, please join the library staff at the Dayton Memorial Library on November 16th to learn more about eReaders.

Friends of the Dayton Memorial Library are having a special tribute to Columbia County authors Saturday, October 20th from 1 to 3 in the Delany Room of the Dayton Memorial Library. Authors will be invited to the October 20th event to talk about his/her book. The public is invited to attend the special tribute event.

If you need help with basic computer skills, would like to find a few good books, or are having trouble downloading eBooks or eAudiobooks, you need to Book a Librarian! One-on-one consultation gives the librarian a chance to answer your question without interruption while giving us time to prepare any resources you may need.
Appointments may be any Tuesday or Thursday morning if staff is available; however, other arrangements can be made. Follow-up appointments are at the discretion of library staff.
To schedule an uninterrupted 30 minute session, call 509-382-4131, email library@daytonwa.net, ask a staff member, or fill out a copy of the appointment request form and drop it off at the library. Please plan ahead, as we may not always be able to schedule an appointment for the next 48-72 hours.
