NYT Bestselling Author, Gregg Olsen, to visit Library TODAY!

Posted by heather in Events

New York Times Bestselling Author, Gregg Olsen, will be at the Dayton Memorial library tonight from 6:30 to 8pm to talk about his books and his new YA series, 'The Empty Coffin."

"A Seattle native who lives in Washington State, Gregg has seen the darker side of the Pacific Northwest and knows a little more about the area than your average guy. “There is something dark and beautiful about the Pacific Northwest," he says. “We seem to have an overabundance of serial killers out here–so many, in fact, sometimes I wonder if they have a secret convention in Washington.” A New York Times and USA Today bestselling author with 13 books and sales of over one-million copies to his credit, Gregg made his young-adult fiction debut with Envy. The follow-up, Betrayal, will be published in September 2012."

Teen Program: Ghost Hunting with Eastern Washington Paranormal!

Posted by heather in Events

Are Ghosts Real?

Do They Talk to Us?

This Thursday, July 12th, between 3 and 5pm, teens (and adults, too!) can come find out more about the supernatural and the science of modern ghost hunting with our local paranormal investigation group, Eastern Washington Paranormal.

About EWP:

We are a group of people who volunteer our time and resources, to help people find answers to the paranormal activity experienced in their homes, businesses, and other property.  We do not claim to be able to remove or communicate with any phenomena you may be experiencing, rather our goal is to look for logical explanations first, and document any phenomena that may be occurring at the location second.

We are a scientific minded group, and we hold professionalism and respect in the highest regard.  Our job is to present any evidence as we find it to the client, including any possible natural or man-made explanations for the activity they have experienced.
